Policy 3.550 RCUH Retiree Health and Life Insurance Program Change – Elimination of $50 subsidy for Retiree Medical Insurance

Effective August 1, 2014, the RCUH will be eliminating the $50 per month subsidy to be used towards retiree medical insurance for RCUH retirees and their spouses.  We will post the revised policy on our website on August 1, 2014. The RCUH Retiree Term Life Insurance benefit will remain the same and will not be eliminated.

All retirees (and spouses) who are currently receiving this benefit will remain grandfathered into this benefit and have been notified via email and U.S. Mail. We have also provided notice via email and U.S. Mail to all current employees who are eligible for the $50 per month subsidy as of April 16, 2014. We will be providing additional information on this policy change and will address any questions relating to this change during our upcoming 2014 Open Enrollment sessions.
