Disbursing/Purchasing
The Disbursing/Purchasing Department reviews all contracts and agreements regarding consultants, subcontracts, real property, leases, construction, and insurance. This department also coordinates and distributes requests for proposals.
Human Resources
The Human Resources Department maintains the RCUH operating flexibility pursuant to statutory exemptions specified in Chapter 307, H.R.S. The department provides the RCUH Executive Director and Principal Investigators with management staff support on personnel matters as well as ensures compliance with policies and employment laws. The department's major areas of responsibilities are:

Project Management/Accounting
The Project Management Section is responsible for establishing service order projects, direct projects, revolving accounts, and specialized service facilities (SSF) projects at RCUH. A six-digit project number is assigned to account for project costs upon receipt and acceptance of all required documents. For UH intramural and extramural sponsored projects, UH revolving funds and specialized service facilities, RCUH must receive authorization to establish these projects from the Director of Office of Research Services. The Accounting Section is responsible for assisting project personnel on all accounting related matters. Personnel assigned to this section are located at the Manoa Innovation Center and staff are assigned to review fiscal transactions and prepare monthly billings and final fiscal reports.
Executive Director's Office
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day affairs of the Corporation and has the delegated authority to enforce and execute all policies, rules, regulations, etc., to conduct the business of the Corporation. The Executive Director's Office also provides staff support to the RCUH Board of Directors, the governing body of RCUH, and maintains the corporate records of the
