Research contracts often require a much more flexible and streamlined method of operation than is permitted by typical state agencies, which is one of the primary reasons why RCUH was created. Although the large majority of RCUH’s volume of business is from research and training projects supported by extramural contracts and grants to UH faculty, RCUH also accepts projects from state departments, county agencies, international entities, and non-profit organizations if it fits within RCUH’s mission.

This strategic plan was created by the RCUH Leadership Team and adopted by the RCUH Board of Directors on December 14, 2021.
