O‘AHU CLOSURES
- RCUH’s Office and all University of Hawaiʻi campuses/facilities and State & City Offices on Oʻahu will be closed on Friday, April 10, 2026 due to anticipated severe weather conditions.
OTHER COUNTIES
- Employees located outside of Oʻahu are expected to report to work as scheduled.
- A decision regarding government offices and UH facilities in Maui County and Hawaiʻi County will be made early Friday morning.
ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE
- Gov. Josh Green announced the statewide suspension of non-essential State services on Thursday. Employees who have not been directed to work will be authorized Administrative Leave on Friday, April 10, 2026. Departmental Disaster/Emergency Coordinators, Disaster Response Workers, and Employees whose work involves continuing crucial operations/services should check with their supervisors regarding whether they are required to report to work. See below for clarification:
- Employees who work on Friday, April 10, 2026 shall not be granted equivalent time off at a later date.
- Employees who are on approved leave (including sick leave or vacation leave) or are on their scheduled day off shall not be granted equivalent time off at a later date.
- Hourly paid employees scheduled to work shall not be entitled to administrative leave and should not report to or remain at work except for employees who are designated to report to or remain at work.
