RCUH fiscal year-end processing has been completed and the RCUH financial system is now open for fiscal year 2027. Fiscal Administrators may approve online purchasing, payment, and travel transactions in the RCUH Financial Portal. The first check run for fiscal year 2027 will be on Monday, July 6, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

UH Project Fiscal Reports in the Financial Portal may reflect incorrect amounts and balances until the UH Kuali Financial System (“KFS”) is opened and opening balances are loaded into KFS for fiscal year 2027.  Until KFS is opened for fiscal year 2027, please use the Mass Printing Reports functionality to access the UH Project Fiscal Reports as of June 2026 and earlier.

In addition, after KFS is opened for fiscal year 2027, Fiscal Administrators may encounter an “insufficient funds” error message if they attempt to approve an online purchasing, payment, or travel transaction for a UH KFS Extramural account in the RCUH Financial Portal. Fiscal Administrators may not be able to approve online transactions for UH Extramural Accounts in the Financial Portal until opening balances for fiscal year 2027 are loaded into KFS and transmitted to the RCUH financial system (scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026).

Reminder: Service dates are required for all online payment transactions processed in the Financial Portal through Monday, August 31, 2026. The service date format is MM/DD/YYYY.  For payments approved after July 31, 2026, are $100,000 or greater, and with service dates of June 30, 2026 or earlier, please complete the attached RCUH AP Worksheet. Please include estimates or projections for invoices that have not been received as of July 31, 2026.  Please email your worksheet to Staci Saito at [email protected] by Monday, August 3, 2026.  If there are no payments to report, please email Staci to report there are no items by Monday, August 3, 2026.
