The University of Hawaii will be undergoing a system conversion of the Kuali Financial System (“KFS”) to Kuali Cloud (“eKFS”) beginning Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 7:00 PM HST to Sunday, October 11, 2026.  The UH eKFS system is scheduled to open the morning of Monday, October 12, 2026.

During the conversion period from October 1 to October 11, we expect the RCUH financial system will be open and available for transaction processing, which means that online purchasing, payment, and travel transactions can be created, submitted, and approved in the Financial Portal. During this period, we also expect vendor payments will be processed in accordance with our normal processing schedule.  However, RCUH reserves the right to temporarily hold vendor payments if it is determined available cash balance is insufficient.  We respectfully ask for your cooperation in refraining from approving large-dollar vendor payments of $100,000 or greater during the conversion period.

During the conversion period from October 1 to October 11, RCUH transactions will not be posted to KFS or eKFS.  The last date that RCUH transactions will be posted to KFS will be on Wednesday, September 30.  RCUH transactions are expected to resume posting to eKFS by Monday, October 12.

UH Project Fiscal Reports will display project balance information as of Thursday, October 1.  Therefore, UH Project Fiscal Reports may reflect incorrect amounts and balances until eKFS is opened on Monday, October 12 and RCUH receives updated project balance information from eKFS.  We expect that the UH Project Fiscal Reports will resume updating on the morning of Monday, October 12.
