Per RCUH Policy 2.101, RCUH projects may use a variety of selection methods to execute the procurement of goods and services, including, but not limited to, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). RFPs allow projects to solicit bids with specific functional or technical requirements and make a selection based on the best suited proposal (best value), rather than price alone. RFQs are used when price is the primary factor.
