FAR Acquisition Threshold Adjustment and Reporting Executive Compensation

Effective 10/01/2010, due to an increase in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) acquisition-related threshold, Attachments 32b, 32c, and 32d have been revised.  The new acquisition-related thresholds that apply to all Federal contracts are the simplified acquisition threshold is raised from $100,000 to $150,000, the cost or pricing data threshold is raised from $650,000 to $700,000, and the prime contractor subcontracting plan is raised from $550,000 to $650,000. 

 

As required by the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) of 2006 and subsequent 2008 amendments, effective October 1, 2010, prime awardees are required to report selected information including compensation of the highly compensated executives on their first-tier subrecipients related to Federal contract and grants.  FFATA or Transparency Act has been added to Attachment 32a.  FAR Clause 52.204-10, Reporting Executive Compensation and First-Tier Subcontract Awards, has been added to Attachments 32b, 32c, and 32d.
