Effective September 15, 2025, the following updates have been made to Policy 3.270.
- Aligns with UH's policies to require that UH Title IX or RCUH's EEO/Sexual Harassment Prevention training, as well as the Workplace Violence Prevention training are due on an annual basis, as opposed to once every two years.
- Accepts the UH Workplace Violence Training (effective September 15, 2025) in lieu of the RCUH Workplace Violence Training.
- Clarifies that mandatory trainings (or recertifications) must be completed within the prescribed time noted in the employee's job description. The completion time for UH Title IX/RCUH EEO and workplace violence prevention trainings has been reduced to within 30 days of hire and recertified annually.
- Directs employees who work on UH projects to complete the UH Title IX training housed on the UH Title IX website. Employees not tied to a UH project must complete the RCUH EEO/Sexual Harassment Prevention course in the RCUH Training Portal.
- Adds that informal counseling may be performed by a notice between the employee, Principal Investigator, and/or immediate supervisor.
