Effective today, June 15, 2026, RCUH will use the University of Hawaiʻi’s Lamakū Learning Management System to track training compliance. This new platform should simplify training compliance for RCUH employees, as learners will no longer need to upload certificates of completion for UH Title IX Training, UH Information Security Awareness Training, or the Hawaii State Ethics Training!

WHAT EMPLOYEES NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE TRANSITION:
- A UH Username is required to access Lamakū. Click here if you do not remember your UH username or do not have one.
- Prior achievements captured in the RCUH Training Portal will not transfer to Lamakū; however, RCUH will preserve training records from Litmos offline.
- If you have been assigned a course you believe youʻve already completed, you may log into the RCUH Training Portal (Litmos) until June 26, 2026, to check your prior achievements/compliance status. You may also want to take a screenshot of your achievements for future reference.
WHAT PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORS/SUPERVISORS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE TRANSITION:
- When onboarding new employees, please ensure they request a UH Username on the first day of employment.
- Due to a current delay in user/data feeds, it may take 24-48 hours for new employees to receive access to Lamakū, which means initial training will not be available on the first day of employment.
REMINDER ABOUT UH TRAININGS:
- The UH Information Security Awareness Training (ISAT) will launch in Lamakū on July 1, 2026. Instructions on how to access the training will be forthcoming.
- UH’s Preventing Harassment & Discrimination (Title IX) course will not be available until September 2026. More details to come!
