RCUH HR INFORMATION ONLY – Paid Leave Colorado/Oregon Premiums Begin January 1, 2023

Employees working in Colorado: Effective January 1, 2023, Colorado’s Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI) will be funded by employer and employee (50/50) contributions in the form of payroll deductions, and will provide eligible employees leave beginning January 1, 2024. The contribution rate is set at 0.9% of the employee’s wage. Starting January 1, 2023, paid leave contributions will be deducted from employees’ paychecks. Employees working in Oregon: Effective January 1, 2023, Oregon’s new Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (PFMLI) program will be funded by employer and employee contributions in the form of payroll deductions, and will provide eligible employees leave beginning September 3, 2023. The contribution rate for 2023 is 1%. Employers will pay 40% of the contribution, and employees will pay 60%.
