Due to anticipated severe weather conditions from Tropical Storm Nolo, all State and county offices and University of Hawai'i campuses/facilities on Hawai'i Island will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026 through Friday, Sept. 25, 2026; campuses and offices in Maui County will be closed on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026 only.
RCUH employees who work on Hawai'i Island and Maui County who have NOT been directed to report to work on those dates or remain at work due to operational needs will be authorized to take Administrative Leave based on the criteria mentioned in UH President Wendy Hensel's memo (as listed below).
