[UPDATED] O'ahu, Kaua'i State and County offices, UH campuses closed Tuesday, September 8, 2026

Severe Weather Alert

Due to current weather conditions, all Oʻahu and Kauaʻi state and county offices and University of Hawaiʻi (UH) campuses/facilities will be closed on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Employees should continue to monitor weather conditions and follow guidance issued by state and county emergency management officials.

RCUH employees who report to an Oʻahu or Kauaʻi state or county office or UH campus should not report to their worksite while it is closed, unless they are considered essential employees or have been specifically directed to report by their Principal Investigator. Employees should remain in communication with their supervisors regarding work expectations and any project-specific instructions. Essential employees and others specifically directed to report should follow the instructions provided by their Principal Investigator.

The safety of our employees remains our priority. Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel during hazardous conditions, and continue to monitor official emergency notifications.
