RCUH updated Policy 3.262 RCUH Work Schedule, Work Week, and Work Hours to clarify its position on Telework. Telework is defined as a pre-approved work arrangement that allows employees to work from home or another non-RCUH location on a regular basis (i.e., at least one day a week). The following updates have been made to the policy:

• UH service-ordered projects must comply with the UH Telework Policy.
• Direct Projects (non-UH affiliated) must comply with the appropriate entity’s telework policy (i.e., State-funded direct projects must comply with State of Hawaiʻi Telework Program Guidelines).
