As part of our commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance, we want to remind project staff of the upcoming OSHA Form 300A posting requirement.
What is the OSHA Form 300A?
The OSHA 300A is the Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses for the previous calendar year. It provides a snapshot of our safety performance and must be made visible to all employees. RCUH Human Resources will be issuing a completed OSHA Form 300A to all project staff (Principal Investigators and individuals with HR Portal Supervisor Access) in late January 2026 for each work establishment.
Posting Period: February 1 – April 30, 2026
During this time, the completed and certified OSHA Form 300A must be posted in a conspicuous location at each worksite where employee notices are customarily displayed.
Key Points to Remember:
- The form must remain uncovered and unaltered throughout the posting period.
- Even if there were zero recordable incidents, the form must still be posted.
- Failure to comply with OSHA’s posting and reporting requirements can result in citations and penalties. Posting the form helps promote transparency and reinforces our shared responsibility for workplace safety.
- RCUH will be reporting work establishments by Distribution Codes starting in 2025. Principal Investigators and individuals with RCUH HR Portal Supervisory Access should expect to receive their personalized OSHA Form 300A in late January 2026.
